A very merry Christmas indeed to all of you :)

Or as we say here in Norway; God Jul!
Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today - but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all. - Isaac Asimov
There's an IRC channel set up for this place - #scifistudios on the EFNet network (irc.efnet.org). If you have mIRC installed, just click this link (mIRC will open it and you will come to the channel). Maybe I should open #syzygystudios as well...

Happy New Year!

I had fun. I saw Alvin the Squeakuel with sister, mom, kids while Rob and brother and Dad saw Avatar. My group didn't want to miss the skating session, and there was time to do that and see Alvin since it was half the length of Avatar before bad weather was supposed to hit. It sounds like Avatar was good. I laughed at lot at Alvin. Not sure if I'll see Avatar at the theatre or wait until DVD. If I see it at home I won't have to hear loud chipmunks and laughing during the quiet suspensful parts, like my brother did.

Newstar, I *definitely* recommend watching Avatar at the theatre! It is sooooooo worth the experience o_O

If you are on some kind of hard drug while watching it in normal theatres, or even just drunk at IMax 3D, your brain would explode. So much colour and vertigo in that movie.
Vancouver, BC. While I no longer live there, the city always has been, and forever will be my home.

Heh. Yes, a lot of it does take place above the ground with plenty of swooping camera movements.

Maybe I can go next weekend. If I go pepped up I think I'll stick to caffein though.
